Angel Adored

I did not know the Angel Adored
'till the Lord invited me in
and said, see -my Angel Adored
And behold what glory can be

So I looked and saw the woman divine
My friend, but better adored
No glory, no honor hath ever seen
A daughter as perfect as she

He kept her close, Angel Adored
A white rose, reserv-ed, beauty
She is gentle and kind an angel adored
and favored daughter of God!

Now can you see my Angel Adored?
And I knew...love is right
Thy most prized gem from above
I will cherish with all my might.

Now these ten years I'm sealed to my friend
And four children have added to we
Life times have been forged in her flesh
And by her soft touch I now see

That first vision of her, Angel Adored
though framed by trials of life

becomes clearer in focus and brighter
Forever the vision of my wife!

That vision...of Angel Adored.

Thanksgiving Sunrise

At break of day when thoughts awake
The Son light shines across the mind

And gives me pause, to see and thank

my Lord and Master, Advocate kind

He bids me upward, cheers my soul
binds me up and makes me whole

He shines a beam so I may see
The plan laid for eternity

Where we can live in joy and love

Through him with Father up above

His loving way lights up the path
and shows the way to live as he hath
